IHG previously launched a cleaning protocol that included deep cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants in guest rooms and public spaces, which put our hotels ahead of the curve. To expand and further strengthen those standards, IHG has been working with Ecolab, Diversey and the Cleveland Clinic to provide higher-impact and more efficient cleanliness solutions that keep our guests and hotel colleagues safe.
Good isn’t good enough – we’re committed to high levels of cleanliness. That means clean, well maintained, clutter free rooms that meet our standards. If this isn’t what you find when you check-in, then we promise to make it right.

Groups and meetings: We will work with you and the needs of your group on a case by case basis, including moving event dates to another time, in line with terms and conditions of that booking. The IHG Way of Clean experience includes deep and more frequent cleaning of meeting and event spaces, access to ample hand sanitizer stations, socially distanced seating and meeting room layout, guidance on management of guest flow, single-serve and pre-packaged meal options.
